Hello,
does anyone know about a memory module brand / model which 100% works with Sony Vaio VGN-TX5XN/B? There is one on-board module and one extra slot for 200pin module. I have tested Kingston 1GB DDR2, but my laptop stopped working after a few moments.
The question: Have you ever come across a RAM module compatible with this notebook?

Presumably Sony will sell you such a module. Otherwise, just buy from a vendor that guarantees compatibility, so you can return for a refund if it doesn't work.
