If you ever take the Windows 7 plunge, and can run the System Assessment Tool (I'm not sure if it's already available in the beta), let us know what the new rating is please
Just saw a thread on EVGA and someone posted their score with Windows7 and SSD drive. Here's what they wrote :
Quote :
Not that WEI is a reliable mesure of performance, but a 5.9 under WEI with windows 7 was the max I could get with two 1TB sata seagate 7200 rpm drives, 7.9 was what I got with 2 Intel 25X-M's in raid 0 @,(2X80) 7.2 was what I got with 3 OCZ vertex 30G drives in raid 0.
The Intel 25X-M's pegged the meter.
Its like getting a tape measure out and seeing whos is biggest. LMAO
Gee thanks for the completely useless comment - can't you find something more constructive to do with your time? Look, someone asked about it changing with Windows7, and since I had just seen an answer to their question elsewhere, I answered - pretty simple. I don't see anyone mentioning comparing anything here besides you.. go figure.
