Hi there,

Is there anyway to remove corrupt files that are on a storage card. Won't
let me delete, move or rename and say they are in ROM.

I installed my Mapopolis maps to my storage card last night with activesync.
Something went very very wrong and some of the maps have all these funky
characters for names now and I can't get the boogers off of the card.

I don't have a SD card reader and I was figuring if I got the card out of
the device to remove them it might work...but don't have that option and not
even sure if that will work.

Don't want to reformat the card if I can help it. Any advice is greatly
appreciated.

_strongly_ recommend that you get a card reader... they are dirt cheap
and your data is probably worth a lot more.

If you must proceed using only the ppc, start with a soft reset... and
if that doesn't help, move the contents of the \windows\start_menu to a
backup location and start over.

Again, it's going to be a lot simpler to use the disk tools on your pc
to deal with card problems as will as allowing you to transfer things
such as these maps 10-20 times faster than an activesync connection
