1) I would order a P35 mobo. A few places are selling them now such as clubit, they just dont list on the website.

2) The Processor and the CPU Cooling system don't seem to match. The cooling system would indicate you plan to seriously OC. If you are going to seriosly OC, then something like a 6420 would work better since these seem to have some of the best thermals.

3) I would get multiple HDDs. This will let you do raid or split the load between the drives by having swap files and temp directories on one and the software on the other.

4) The PSU manufacture is not preferred by a VERY respected reviewer on PSUs.

It is good for oc'ing, but it's too expensive. An E6450 or E6600 will be able to oc just as high as the E6700 and are cheaper.

Dude that will not just work. The only thing on the market that will just work is an Apple. I suggest you purchase the only computer that just works. Apples absolutely can not get viruses at all or spyware they run 111% at all times no questions. However your "PC" is the most insecure machine ever built you are sure to be a victim of identity theft and convicted of spaming and hosting kiddie porn with in a year.

Well, what do you expect? Those ads are for the average consumer, not the guys who stay up for days at a time at a LAN party, or the us enthusiasts. If the ads talked about what Mac OS X is good for, most people wouldnt understand half of it.

The guys who do use Macs professionally don't need commercials to help them make their decisions, and the Mac-using enthusiasts amoung our ranks don't need to be told what Mac OS X is good for.

Apple is like P4/PD era Intel. The general public thinks the Pentiums are awesome in every way. The enthusiasts know that they are good for some things (5ghz+ oc's) and suck at others (everything besides oc'ing).
