If i try to start any video editing programs in XP this pluginadapter.exe will pop up and start loading something and it ecventually starts pulling up c++ runtime library errors and thencrashes the program. I would feel better even if someone else had this problem and can help me I have never had this issue before. It started to hapen only after I upgradd to service ack 2. I upgraded to service pack 3 and still no dice. any help will be appreciated thanks in advance.

Registry errors will cause what it looked like I was seeing. Again, it was hard to see tho.

You could always roll back the update and see if the errors go away.

It's pretty hard to make much out in the video. Try downloading ccleaner to check/repair any registry errors.

Boot into safe mode with networking (f8 on startup). Download and update malwarebytes. Run a full system scan.
