My goal is to be able to use my PDA to view yahoo's WebPages in the smaller
screen format.

When I use my Pocket PC browser to view http://mobile.yahoo.com the page
loads it tells me I need a newer version of Internet Explorer.

I checked my iPAQ and it says my version is IE4.0 so I'm trying to figure
out if there's a more current version for my iPAQ.

I've been to the HP website but can't find anything.
I've been to the Microsoft website but can't find anything.

What are others using?

Bob,

Pocket IE is built into the ROM of your device and is not upgradable in the
traditional sense. There are some things you can do though that will
"trick" some sites.

First, you can get a tweaking application like Tweaks2K2
(http://www.tweaks2k2.com) and you can have it effectively lie to websites
and tell them that your browser is IE 6.0.

Second, you can try another browser that you can install on your device such
as NetFront. You can get information on it at
http://www.access-us-inc.com/.

Regards,

There is another option its called MultiIE and it adds to your Pocket
Explorer. Giving you better control, Mimicing other envirnoments, Dynamicly
sizing screens to fit your PDA, and allowing you to have multiply pages open
at one time....
