Hi, well after try alot with two diferent computers i got my self into a even biger problem! ok i have a notebool HP pavilion Turion 64x2 with nvidia 7100 video card. Originaly it had vista instaled before i downgrade it to XP32. It resumes that this notebool works just fine. not a problem. Now i bought a new desktop computer SPECS: ASUS M3A32-mpv deluxe + Phenom 9850 + ATI 3870 + Corsair 2+2gb + WD hard drive 500gb.ok I instled vista64 on it and i was having a problem with alot of the games i have the CD/DVD image of. It just woldn't install . It would say ''not a valid win32 aplication''. After try alot of times i downgaded it to xp32 thinking i would have no problems just like my notebook. The problem is, It wont instal some of the image files any way!!! I use daemond tool to mount the image after that i see a prompt of the DOS for about half a second than that is it!! nothing else hapen!! So i go into the cd image and try to double click on the installer! this is what i get '' This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package'' but why this hapen on my desktop computer and not on my notebook? Them both have the seame exact windows! from the same CD!!
i wonder if ther hardware has anything to do with it!?

Anothe one is i had Crysis runing on my notebook just fine so it did on my desktop with vista64. But now the desktop with XP32 i get the messenge '' C:\Crysis.EA.rus_[tfile.ru]\electronic arts\ Crytek\bin32\Crysis.exe This aplication has faild to start becau se the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the app may fix this problem'' o really dont undertend what is going on!! Please help me with that one!! Thank you very much!! :sarcastic:

This error often due to missing/damaged AUTOEXEC.NT in \system32 foder. There is a backup copy in \windows\repair

hi!! i figure out what happened!! i backed up the files using Nero back it up!!
i selected not to compress files. I think because my external hard drive is FAT32 the back up program splits the file in two so it doesn't exceed the 4gb limit for FAT32. I was comparing the files and i noticed that there was less image files on the original folder then on the copy. Now i am going to to format my external HD in NTFS and see if i can transfer the files directly from my computer to the hard drive without have to use any back up program! I lost a lots of images not only test drive as i can see here! Thank you Mike!!
