After a while each day my iPAQ 4155 gets slow. Doing a soft reset helps it.
Utilities I have installed are: Battery Pack Pro v2.2.2; Resco File
Explorer, Picture Viewer. All that I sync is Calendar, Contacts, Tasks,
Notes, Files.

I also had programs that I have uninstalled: Two Peaks software: Personal
vehicle manager and BillRate.

Do I need to do a reinstall of everything? Do a hard reset? Or could my pda
be defective?

Thanks!

Are these programs all installed in the main memory? The ideal is to have
programs installed on a SD card and have as much as possible free memory
available.

Also, if you use Pocket Internet Explorer, make sure you delete the cache
from time to time - it can use quite a bit of memory.

I usually try to put all programs on the SD card. Some, such as Resco,
Battery Pack and other utilities want to be in main memory.

I rarely use pocket internet explorer. I'll have to look at the cache.

Guess I'll try eliminating programs and utilities until I get better
performance. Can't say that many of them are that all critical for what I
do. Primarily I use the ipaq for my calendar and contacts.

Thanks! Gary
