Well, it would seem my rig doesn't hold a candle to the majority of yours. Then again, the dust and wires don't help either. Here are some pics, specs in sig:
Here is another:
And a picture of the insides:
These pictures remind me that I need to clean up my room...
Well I'm Jealous!
By the way, where'd you get that Green UV CC mounted underneath your monitor? Is it just a regular CC hooked up via molex? Looks cool.
And I'll try and match your setup with my next build.
Regular cc with velcro and usb connection and switch to change colors, thanks

lovin' this computer!, the orange is kick ass, but what gets me is the plain aesthetic look integrated with the advanced (i know what im doing) water cooling! sweet
Soldier yours is sweet too! Certainty has the WOW FACTOR.
I will post mine when i have one worth it
I like the burnt orange look, nice core speed there!
Man you guys would start a thread like this when I'm not going to be home anytime soon. :-/ Nice systems guys & gals. I'll throw up some pics this weekend whenever I get home.
I built my first, one week ago today, thanks to knowledge I gained reading here, it has remained stable at 3.0 for days now, so I'm ready to show it off. Thanks TG Forumz
And I still have my Dells
Wow some really nice machines here, mines pretty clean and simple, nothing flash but thats just the way I like it! Enjoy!
Lite-On DVD-RW and Shuttle PC Card reader.
The Front speaker output has a 3.5mm splitter so I can use my speakers for music and I don't have to swap cables to use my Zalman 5.1ch Headphones
That Fan Mate 2 goes to my CPU cooler even though I just leave it on high and let the Intel fan controller do it's job. D-Link DWL-G520 rB down the bottom.
Can't wait to replace that X1950Pro with something Meatier!!!!!
My "Cosy" Desk and very comfortable chair! VX922 monitor, G5 Mouse, Logitech Multimedia Keyboard, Archtype Surface 1030 Mouse Pad and Altec Lansing Speakers.
Not the best or flashest rig around but other than the placeholder video card it's just how I want it!
Hi all, here are some fairly ordinary pics of my Antec Nine Hundred, hope you enjoy them:

PS: Sorry about the link, I don't know how to insert images here
8O For as many drives that you have in there, thats an exceptionally clean case. Especially for a 900.
Whats that black stuff on your mobo tray?

Dude that is some crazy nice wire work. Did you do that or did a company do that for you? If you did it want to come to my house and do my TJ09? lol Nice work dude.
Very nice clean layout there, looks professional. What kind f frame rates you getting with the SLI, in your games has it been worth it...

NICE RIG! I was wondering, what kind of case is that? I've seen it before, but can't remember the name. As well, do you find there to be a lack of space for the PSU?
Ok, after some procrastination.. I figured i'd contribute to the thread.
Built this machine in august of 2006, shortly after core2 ship day. The video card is a new addition though.
dj_taboo - thanks, the rubber I used around the holes is some small hose I just split using a knife.
stewartwi - No mate, I did it myself, just a bit of patience and not having a HSF yet helped.
Soldier37 - Frame rates are great, I have only used the cards with a 5200+ and even then only really played Quake 4, benchmarks were good though, FEAR maxed out at 395FPS, min 85FPS @ 1280x1024 16xAF 8xQAA HDR, also 11178 points in 3Dmark06, was it worth it? For me it was.
lordaardvark2 - thanks for that, I am going to put up some better pics later today and will do it like that for you all.
How's that case working out for you mousemonkey? I'm think of getting one like it for my next pc. That way I can go crazy with lighting. UV reactive cables and cables sleeves, all LED fans, cold cathodes, EL wire, the works.
Thanks for asking mate, it's great for showing the newbies what a graphic card is,where RAM goes etc, but is a bit of a pain to work with as it has no back board for the mobo so unless its lying on its side it doth get a bit wobbly and as the corner blocks are perspex cubes with metal inserts in it won't take much wobble to get a case shattering crack methinks, and the side fans might get a bit tight if one were to install a couple of GTX's 88's or 79's, but other than that and the ability to watch the build up of dust bunnies I am very happy with it, mainly because it has'nt failed to illicit some sort of response (ranging from WTF to Coool) from everyone who has walked in and seen it wether its running or not
.
If you do get one and do a W.C thang with all the U.V stuff please please post the pics here or PM me as I would love to see what mine 'could have been like if I'd had the bottle
'.
TIA
Heh, the wtf factor is what I'm going for. The PC in my sig looks cool IMO, but that's because of its elegance, that's what a Lian-Li is ment to be.
Now I want the polar opposite of that. I want a computer that has an overwhelming amount of colors. I mean, I want somebody to be able to take a picture of my computer and find more colors then there are hex color codes for. I want a computer that requires so many UV lights to properly illuminate all the UV reactive things I've installed that I have to remove all plastic from my room and wear sun screen whenever I turn it on because of the amount of UV radiation that this thing gives off. I want a comptuer that will bring other people to their knees in horrible, debilitating pain because of the lumens it puts out and the maddening complexity of light shows going on. I want to have a pc that requires so much power for the lighting alone that I have to hire a team of scientists to create a new form of electrical power, because AC and DC simpily can't cope with the amount of energy need. So much power that any gauge of wire, even foot thick walls of copper, would just vaporize after a few nano-seconds from the extreme amounts voltage and amperage, even whilst being submersed in a vat of LN2.
Oh, and I really don't have a reason for building this, it's just going to be a Linux box. If I make it look really cool I can justify spending the cash on it.
I've noticed there are alot of different brands of acrylic case, which one is that?
I can't imagine the need to take the case apart again after it's buit, so I'll probably just epoxy the thing together.
I have the same mouse pad as you man! Everyone laughed when I got a glowing mousepad, now i'm not alone! Nice rig, got a picture of the CM?
Heres my micro-ATX rig:
The front of the Aopen Case:
The lid off displaying the CPU side (yes, the case is crammed full):
The other side showing the OC'd 7900GS graphics card, and an extra fan:
My throne upon which I sit fully reclined, keyboard in lap, Nostromo gamepad and wireless mouse on armrests:
Six feet in front of my recliner is the 70" screen on the wall (yes, the taskbar is about 2.5" high):
And a quick pic of my projector:
Its a great little box; I built it in December. It can handle all the latest games with the settings turned up, and looks great on the big screen. The problem is, I want to play Crysis the instant it comes out. I also want to play it in DX10.
1- the 8800GTX sure as heck wont fit in this case
2- Even if I bought a new case, the SATA connecters would be in thw way.
So now i'm looking at having to spend 1K+ to replace both of the + a new 8800GTX. DAMMITT!! :x Guess its time to build a new box.
I bought mine at a computer fair last year here in the UK for about £40 which is about $70 - $80 and there is no manufactures name on it or the packing case that I got with it but perusing on the Egg and I found this :- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6811148001 it's a little different only three fans where mine has five but then mine makes enough noise to drown out a 747 on takeoff! so less fans might be a good thing. Oh and I would hold off on the epoxying idea as unless you are only going to use the 5" bays as replacing or adding a HDD or light strip would be next to impossible I reckon plus the amount of dust that builds up around the fans becomes unsightly very quickly.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6811166010 another but with no fans included.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6811166041 an expensive cube!
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6811166011 looks the same as the third one I found but the name Sunbeam seems to come a few times http://www.sunbeamtech.com/index-2.html seems they have somthing to do with Tuniq.
HTH
Well, I guess I'll have to stock up on canned air.
It seems like the only support for the psu are the 4 screws that hold the thing to the side of the case. Is that safe? It looks like the PSU would just break the acrylic after a while and fall onto the video card.
Tuniq is a subsidiary of Sunbeam.
Well I have a Corsair HX620w in mine which at about 7 pounds is not the heaviest but it is also not the lightest and the rear panel is about 6mm thick which is thicker than the screen on a Pan Euro ST 1100 motorcycle for instance so as long as the PSU sits tight up against the panel I think you could probably go up to a ten or twelve pounder without issue, you have bear in mind that acrylic is very strong as long as there are no cracks in it.
Canned air!, I'm far to cheap for that mate I just disconnect from the mains and go at it with a hoover and half inch paint brush that way I can use the money on canned beer a much better investment IMHO
I have updated the pictures of my Antec Nine Hundre based rig, they are much better now, beware you guys on dial-up, they are approx 400Kb each
Here is one for your enjoyment:
8O Crap on a crutch Dude!!, the size of that CPU fan, you're gonna be forever pulling small animals and babies outta that thing
, looks good though, scary but good, how's the temps with that puppy?
CPU temps are around the 32C mark at idle with the fan only running at about 675RPM on auto speed control.
I will be doing some loaded tests tomorrow once everything has settled in.

!!! Holy cr4pin cr4p! How load is that thing? my Zalman spins at 2600RPM max! Does about 0-800RPM at Idle
Ah yes locky but mine is NOT an Intel, it is an AMD 6000+ rated at 125W and 1.4V so it is not doing too bad for what it is.
I know the Core 2's run cooler and use less power but I have "chosen" AMD and am planning on their new quad cores being as good as they say will be, but that is for another discussion and another time
Fair enough, I remember my old 3500+ stock cooler would do about 4000RPM although it wasn't that loud, Hope that Barcy changes things for you
Hah I get 32c with my fan only spinning at 2200rpm... oh wait maybe thats not so much to shout about
...bugger.
Nice one Dave, so whats next?, a foray into the TEC world perhaps?
mousemonkey, next?
I have no idea what is next, I have been mucking around with it so much lately, I may just spend a while actually using the damn thing.
Once I am used to it, I think I will be having a fair go at overclocking it to see what it can actually do, I am looking forward to that.
I think the next change may be a while off, probably when the new AMD CPU's are released, I would love one of their quad cores if they end up being anywhere as good as they are supposed to be.
Time to put the toolbox away, fire up S.T.A.L.K.E.R (which should run creamy smooth on your rig) and go shoot some bandits in the face. 8)

OMFG [/techgasm] 8O
Well tinman69, That's nice, what else could be said.
I wish I had the room to do something like that but the boss would go off tap
Door closed
Door open
In serious need of a new desk!
Saving for Benq 24in, desk will have to wait. Really didn't feel like pulling the sides off they're a pain in the a$$. Case is so big I had to rest it on my CD case.
Now i really don't wanna post my rig pic.
Nothing compares to these past few pages. Also i gotta break out the compressed air on the interior, its not that bad though.
Don't feel bad, last fall I sold my old system in anticipation of building one and up until about a month ago have been using this
P2 333 192mb RAM
Giving it to my GF so she'll stay off mine.
I have to say though notice the OEM DVD drive. This thing having a DVD drive is like a system today having a Blue-Ray drive. Must have been quite a machine in it's day.
Nice rig. Love the black on grey look. Very metal looking.

No one's going to reg on you for not have a nice looking case, and if they do we'll rag on them back. Plus, we can maybe give you some ideas and suggestions to make your case look nicer and maybe mod it.
Yeah, wiring is alot better than when i bought it. Ended up being one of those "quick-fix" things, cuz i needed a pc. I want to window mod it, right now i have a sheet of paper plugging the holes on the side of the case. My video card temps are down 5c with my "paper-mod"!! Pics coming soon...
Gold Corsair Dominator....
Did you actually win them through that essay contest....or did you spraypaint your dominators to look like that?
Here is my rig:

Here s my baby, Titan, which has been a work in progress for the last few years.
I was pretty proud of it, until I saw THIS http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=76374&page=89&pp=20, at which point I was nearly reduced to tears.
Nice rig mate, looks sweet, but then I clicked the link at bottom of your post and... well I think I'm in love, I mean, OMFG WTF did you see the, I mean look at the, by the power of greyskull check out that **reaches for kleenex** uuughh oh yeah.
