HP's iPAQ hw6500 has an integrated gps receiver and a preinstalled gps
software. I want to use an other gps software. So I have to know the
com port nummber and port settings of the integrated gps receiver. Does
anybody know this settings?

You can do some things:

1. Check in the preinstalled software what port it is using
2. If your other gps software has the function Find GPS (many have) then use
it.
3. Install some GPS testing software like GPSInfo and check.

The preinstalled software does not tell me, what port it is using. The
other software I want to use, is written by myself.

Thank you all,

it is port COM7:, baudrate 38400.

My problem was, that there was another software in background blocking
the port.
