My father has dell, its a work computer. He installed a new HDD and put XP on it. The original disk had 2000 on it. The problem is, now 200 won't boot properly. We get an error message that says corrupt file.

XP's installation began in 2000, the drive on the dell does not work so we instaled xp from a remote drive.

2000 no longer works, XP works, just need to install the drivers. But why does 2000 not work. We tried disconnecting the SATA drive (new one), this did nothing.

If you need to know any more info tell me,

How do we get 2000 working again? (needs it for work)
