Hi

You cant install codec on your pocket pc like you can on your desktop

http://tcpmp.corecodec.org should be one of the best (i havent tryed it my

It's not a codec issue if you have WMP9 or up on your PPC. The embedded
player won't work, but if you dig out the url of the streams, they will play
fine on your PPC WMP, use Tools->Open URL

e.g. http://origin.www.cbc.ca/mrl2/live [...] london.asx

The link I have is http://www.cbc.ca/listen/streams/r1_london_32.html so I'm
not sure if I can pull out individual audio files.

Just in case someone here is interested I did find a list of the .asx
streamed files for CBC Radio in Canada and they play just fine on my PPC,
thouhg a little to quiet.

Direct CBC.ca URLs for listening to CBC Radio
If your media player is having trouble "locating media" or with "verify path
name and file name", scan this list for the location you wish to listen to
and click on the URL for that location. This should take you directly to the
CBC Radio signal you wish to hear.

OK now that I have the audio streaming and have even been able to get it to
work with my GMRS phone I'm wondering if there is any way to make it louder?
I've already cranked all of the volume. Is there anything I can do besides
add an external amp or head phones?
