Thanks for the information, but mine new Acer N35 in combination with
the TomTom Navigator nr. 5, does not recognizes the satellites. The
seller of the Acer N35, progress.nl, says that the Acer N35 does not
coop with TomTom Navigator nr.5
I think that the Acer N35 is defect, the time clock does not work
properly too.

I checked in the forum of the dutch PocketPC club
(http://www.pocketpc-club.nl/) and apparently you are not the only one
having problems while other people seem to have it working. If you can
read dutch, get a free membership there and read the thread "tomtom5 en
acer n35".

Mine works fine with TT ver 5 , no problems at all,lots of POI's as well ,

Tomtom5 works fine with my N35 :-)

My tomtom5-config: other cable-NMEA-GPS, 4800 baud, "GPS ON NAVAGATOR"

My N35 has the same problem with the clock :-(
