I've been lagging on CS lately, or actually, since i got my new computer
heres the specs

Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 2.40 GHz
2 GB Ram
256 MB of RAM for 7900 GS Nvidia video card
I guess those are the main features, don't worry about the rest
internet connect = AT&T Yahoo(is this good?)
anyways i've been getting 200+ ping even though my computer is a week old. I have a broadband connection, 54 MPBS or w/e it's called, but the thing is, im on a linksys router. 4 computers are connect, 1 wireless and a PS2. Is it the router, is it the computer, or is it the broadband connection thats making a game that doesn't require much at all, lag....

btw, is broadband the same as DSL or no?

Sorry for the late response but i am strongly leaning towards this being a broadband issue. What are you running in the background(bit torrents, file downloaders)?? Do you have a firewall setup??
