While Microsoft is making deals with linux distributors they are finding ways to own the digital world by getting their monopoly again and again getting lawsuits against them.
With Vista they tryed to make people believe that this platform would be spyware free and could not be hacked until they put their own believings to the test and found out that their superior security system was even weaker as Windows XP SP2 is now. Their OS got hacked bigtime and now that Germany's big town called Munchen is going linux they are feeling that Linux is getting more and more populair among people who had enough of reinstalling their Windows each year while keeping the same problems with virusses and spyware. Also Linux is able to play many Windows games by emulation. They perform maybe a bit less in benchmarks but are still playable in very good quality. So with all this together they are making deals with linux distrubitors or however you spell that. Ain't this ultra cheap or what? First their goal was to force gamers to go directx 10 by not releasing it for windows xp.....they just know how many kids are playing games. It's just a sick thing to do and stealing money from people's pockets without leaving them a choice for either staying with xp or go vista (like xbox 360 can't do dx10 without vista? hell yeah it can they allready prooved it). Second were trying to take also monopoly positions on security matters leaving anti virus firms and anti spyware firms in the dust cause they would not be of any help any more when microsoft was so proud of their new security system that now is as leak as a "what goes in must come out".
I think microsoft will be getting it's biggest set back ever with this kind of greedy behaviour and there will be big problems with their security system within the next year to show, I'm sure. For sure I will first wait and see what vista's security is all about before I'll buy it. When nothing happens the first year I might dair to take the step. Microsoft proposes to marry Linux...ain't this the biggest joke in history? :D Europe's Linux gets a please please from America's Microsoft? Linux is FREE yes that's how WE like it MICRO>>SOFT!! No more monopoly for you!!

ps: personally I think linux looks better then the new vista also but that's just personal:

Whats your point? And by point I mean, a point that hasn't already been beaten to death, exhumed, and beaten again.

Yes I agree with you but I just felt like saying it for the first time in my life instead of reading about it. I feel a lot better now :D thx for reminding me though ;)
