is it possible to copy a DVD movie onto a PC? I know its not legal, and person can be fined $250,000 for illegal seeling them i am just wondering if it is possible to just have them on a PC so I dont have to insert the DVD every time.

yes you can just copy and paste dvd file to you hard disc or you can rip video by dvd ripper software.there is so many dvd ripper software.here is the link what i use.

Ok I have tried the free trial of the one you gave me. It is really nice and what I really like is that it lets you burn Subtitles as well from the Original DVD. Now, When you burn those movies onto a different DVD what specs do you use ? Like FPS,Resolution, etc. and what blank media? DVD-R or other???

well actually i'm from asia so we use pal version video.and i haven't burn movie to dvd coz i have original dvd in my hand that's why i don't need to burn.but i did some music video.i'm using ulead video studio 10plus. movie property is 16.9 wide and PAL system 30fps DVD-R. after i finish editing menu back ground....etc i always burn PAL DVD 16.9 or PAL DVD 16.9 Dolby digital 5.1
