My cable tv box has a video out and I would like to stream the contents wirelessly to my PC which has a ATI 1950 card with video in.

Can this be done? If so what equipment do I need?

what you need is a capture card for your PC. I got one at http://surveillance-equip.com/DVR-system.html it cost $499.00 and I can put tv, vcr, remote camera, camcorder, any video source and it will display on the monitor and record to my hard drive if I want. good equipment and helpful people.
