Strange fix software problem.

Ok this was cool. My brother who went to tech school gave up on a laptop he was working on for a friend and told me to look at it. (Note I never went to tech school but smart on software and hardware).

Here was the problem. The screen was plain black. But you could only see the icons.

I ask my brother question did you try grapics and such and he went how can I everything black.

I ask my brother another question about safe mode and same answer it all black.

Then went ok I have a idea. Turn on my laptop. And use what I could see from problem laptop all the icons but no letters and such. And found Accessories, Then scan the next set of task which has system Tools, Then system restore. That came up. Everything was white on that but Next and cancel. Same thing with the second screen Letters back cancel next. But I use my laptop to make sure which button was which. Then set it a few weeks back and the laptop was fix. You can see dates and such.

Basic trick I did was Match my Icons with the problem laptop. And boy dose his laptop has tons of folders. So it was fun to work on.

Even the crazy ideas come out great.
