I have bought a Digital Blue 2.0 digital video camera for my daughters Xmas Present, which comes with some software for editing video clips etc.
The problem is that on launching the software the screen resolution appears to be resized and I cannot click on any of the control buttons on the screen, unless I move the mouse pointer down and to the right whereby the button "Highlights" and I then click the mouse and can activate the function-also i cannot get the mouse pointer to the very top or left of the screen! (The software works fine on another pc)
The pc is an old packard bell spirit 500 P3 500 with 512 mb. XP pro
the video card is an on board
• Video : S3 Savage 4 Pro
o Full AGP 4x and 2x, limited to 2x by 440BX chipset
o 2 to 32 MB frame buffer.
o 128-bit graphics engine enabling extensive 2D graphics support and acceleration.
o 3D graphics support including: 32-bit true colour rendering, full scene and sprite anti-aliasing, reflection mapping, texture morphing, shadows, procedural textures and atmospheric effects.
o Digital video and MPEG2 support.
o NTSC and PAL TV support.
o 24-bit digital interface for flat panel encoders, enabling digital flat panel monitor support.

I have looked for any other drivers and installed any that i could find but with no success.

I am not sure if I am looking in the correct area or not, or if I will need to buy a new video card.

appreciate any input

thanks
