There has been alot of talk about the ability (non-ability) to use a
pocketpc as a "USB Thumbdrive" without installing activesync.

Found this over on aximsite.com, and hadn't seen anyone mention it yet
here..

run this program on your pocketpc, plug into your pc with a USB cable, and
your storage cards appear as external drives in your desktop explorer.
(Also, Much Faster than activesync. transferred a 150MB file in under 3
min.)

Yep it does work. There is a small icon on the lower right hand corner and
you can select from a menu there whether you want to use activesync or this
program. If you select "Card Export" your storage card becomes a hard drive
in Windows Explorer. Very simple.

I will give this a try and if it works out I might buy it.
