Windows Media Player

i have a canon a80 and i made 3 movie that are .avi they play on my Windows
Media Player 10 on my pc but they wont play on my hp ipaq rz 1710. is tehre
a program that i need to download to make them work..
please help.

Or better still get Betaplayer at http://betaplayer.corecodec.org/ and do
away with ms.

I think you just improved that video no end ;-).

Can't help with WM Encoder, but if you run the AVIs through PocketDivX
Encoder, you will be able to play them with Betplayer on your Pocket PC.

I'm not sure what the email address is at MS to thank them, but this is an
MS group so I guess it's the next best thing. It's not too often they get
plaudits, it's usually moans.

You can't do away with ms on 2003SE as the codec has changed and
Betaplayer can't get at it for mwv files like it could on WMP 9. I hope
they fix Betaplayer soon. It plays everything else well.
