I'm trying to decide if I should buy a new Kodak 5100 all-in-one EasyShare inkjet printer that advertises a 50% savings in ink costs or if I should buy an HP Business Inkjet 1200 Printer that has modular ink cartridges.

From my initial investigation it appears the Kodak ink is really just a smaller ink cartridge (at an expected lower price) that happens to be around 50% less than comparable ink cartridges for other printers that have larger ink volumes.

I'd really like to see the numbers, but would settle for some feedback on what would be the more cost-effective purchase.
