Hello,

From an OS perspective you shouldn't have a problem with any size card. I
did a quick look on the 545 and did not find an OEM limit either so you
should be clear on any size. key work: Should.

Regards,

It's not a changeover point- the upper limit of FAT16 is above the lower
limit of FAT32.

The minimum FAT32 size is around 260Mb, the maximum FAT16 size is 4Gb- *but*
there are OS limits to beware of. So there are capacities where you can
choose whichever you want to use.

The maximum FAT16 size is 4GB.

**In addition FAT16 volumes larger than 2 GB are not accessible from
computers running MS-DOS, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me. This
limitation occurs because these operating systems do not support cluster
sizes larger than 32 KB, which gives an effective 2 GB limit.

Alan,

Good explanation.

Bruce, The CE core understands FAT32 so you should not have any issues on
it.
