welcome :D

with the 2x 7950s i assume that you want SLI so that means nVidia 650i or 680i based mobos (Asus also have a hybrid nVidia chipset board).

do i need 8gb of RAM?
do i need vista or something?
must it be SLI /Crossfire?
and
what mother board if yes to all?

i really don't care if it does not overclock well, but it's ok if it can.

do i need 8gb of RAM?
No, in fact a 32-bit OS won't support that much RAM.

do i need vista or something?
You don't need Vista but you do need an OS - for gaming at the moment your best bet is 32-bit XP.

must it be SLI /Crossfire?
You've already got 2 7950s so might as well use them in SLI.
