First of all : admins, i don't know if this will be considered as spam or not... OCCT being free, i think not ;) If it is, feel free to delete this whole thread and accept my apologies :)

I'm the guy behind OCCT, a once-popular stability checking software, a few years ago. I stopped developing it due to lack of time, but got back into it recently... well, it's been a year now ;) It has reached stable version, and is now at 1.1.0.

The new version is named "Perestroika", as it was totally rewritten, improved, and it a reference to Gorbatchev's "Perestroïka", aka the opening of Russia towards the rest of the world.

OCCT Perestroika now has the following features :
* Multi-core support (up to 16 right now ! For fun, i call it "HexaDecaCore" )
* Much more efficient testing algorithm ==> really improved there :)
* 3 tests : Auto (30min) : the good old quick test, Infinite, and Custom (where you specify how long the test should run : 8 hours, 99 hours...)
* 3 test modes : CPU, RAM, and CPU & RAM (it affects only Infinite and Custom tests, Auto is always CPU & RAM)
* Brand new GUI : it's really better looking now
* Interfaces with MBM5, Speedfan and Everest Ultimate 3.5 or later
* Graphs are still generated showing Temps and Voltages, and they are now always generated (wether you abort a test, fail it, succeed, etc)
* Multi-core CPU sensors are supported, and you can now specify 4 customs sensors : select whichever temp you like, name it, it'll monitored and graphed at the end (2 custom Temperature sensors and 2 for voltages)
* Supports different languages (right now : English, French, German, Croatian, Russian, and Italian)
* Vista compliant (will run with and without admin privileges ; without admin privileges, it won't detect any FSB frequency, only the current CPU frequency, but anything else is fine)
* HT as Dual core option : you can now tell OCCT to treat a HT CPU as a Dual core (i.e. launch 2 testing threads).

If you have comments, suggestions or questions, feel free to ask them here, i'll answer them ;)

PS : OCCT has been tested and validated on a bi-quad-core clovertown xeon server. Which turned out to be unstable ! A 4-dual-core system (8 cores as well) proved to be stable.
