Do you have CPU-Z yet?

I'd put 1 set in at a time and get the 4 timings each set produces. Compare the numbers. Set the timings in BIOS to the loosest reading you get. That should solve the problem. I really believe you've got mismatched sets and the mobo doesn't know which timings to set. Try bumping the dimm voltage up 0.1v too.

naaah trust me after that much time on the left alone. I did check the processes, who do you take me for :)
Nothing at all was taking up anything significant. Just sound like my PC suddenly (as of this past Friday) dislikes the 3dmark series.

This most probably shows a more deeply embedded issue though with most probably software, and most horrifyingly drivers.

I did test with the same software and drivers on Thursday night (upgrade night) but it worked like a charm.

Dont know about anything, I dl'ed Orthos but I dont know what settings to run it on for all night.

Have you read my BIG POST in which in the middle of and at the very beginning I note that my PC did have a trojan warning pop up at a time. Read the big one for more info please?

I now use :
Zone alarm free
AVG free
spybot s&d
ad-aware
Spyware blaster
i cant think of any more now, the newest though is spyware blaster. Ill do the basic checks now: spybot and ad-aware
AVG takes HOURS to do, ive got better uses for my CPU power

Im not worrying about the new ram now ok?

about 3dmark i say as b4 most probably the software's fault, just throwing blame around

ive got to go to sleep

I ran spybot s and d's scan, is it bad that for months every scan just scans the bookmarks and areas of the internet browsers installed and hasnt found an issue in mos?

I ran adware's smart scan for a min or two it found a little tracking cookie. I have no time to do more
I ran the Malicious software tool's quick scan which detected nada.

I will run orthos on the default Blend settings unless otherwise instructed
I will go to sleep in 6 min no matter what.

gnight

yu have some resource problems if 05 will not work, drivers or whatever`.
I am feeling a hardware driver to be honest.something is distracting the execution of 05.

blah blah i apoligize for my attitude but i gtg to go to sleep

just to add: i do have a folder that wont delete that held 3 torrent folders with cracks and serials in them from the day b4 the upgrade when i was looking for a 3d05 key. I tried unlocker but no dice
scans with malicious and AVg show nothing bad

Just a suggestion to run a disk check if you haven't recently. Also, perhaps your 3dmark files got corrupted -- have you downloaded fresh ones?

More Information

Disk check being? My hard drive is very well defragged, as well as my MFT and Drive Boot Thangy. I havent done a full virus scan for malware in a week or two though.

Othos is runninng fine after 3:24, gonna let it be. I checked the task manager: its talking up 100percentCPU and 900mb or so of RAM.

Why I think 3dmark wont open: Its looking for sys config then right? 05 doesnt go outright and say it, but 06 does. It either cannot find or there has been an error with some file on my PC that holds a written form of my PC's current hardware configuration. Either that or, say, my GFX drivers arent showing up properly to the checker because of my sloppy install.

Please check my big post for most of the info on what has gone on so far.
My plan after letting Orthos sit for a while is to get a similar sysconfig check going. I believe in my EA Games folder. EA has a sysconfig checker that is usually slow and annoying.

Ive got to go to school, but I will be available at or around 1:30PM. I'll write back then.

My internet connection is quite the crappy one, It only can do max: 86 down. I downloaded 3dmark05 at school and 06 from a torrent. My router also sucks something horrible, and is almost never running without a hitch. I did get a new router in the same newegg box as everything else but havent had a chance to open it for obvious reasons.

just use prime95 for sucking up all your ram, a blend test takes up my entire 2gb for testing

And disk checking is to see if the hdd has errors on it, quite different from defragmenting, run chkdsk in the run command to ttry that out. And honestly, if the 4th dimm is giving you problems, then its a motherboard issue, you're fretting about this a bit too much, calm down a bit and you will be able to think better. But as I told you, you won't get complete results from running memtest for only 30min, hence when you ran it for 5 hours you got hundreds of errors which does not surprise me

More Information

I will run chkdisk although I must say, I have run it twice in the past month or two with no errors.

If you would read a short while before, you would see that I have not tested with all 2gb, all 4 DIMMS at once since Thursday Night, the night of the 11 errors.

Im sticking to trying to solve this issue with the 1gb of old ram, so that it can escape blame for any issues encountered forthwith.

I am planning to attempt to run EAsy Info, in fact here is goes. Ok then that is good news. It runs just fine, starting up extremely fast, and recognizing the 1gb of old ram as well as the 7900gs and Sound Card.

That is excellent news, I will be waiting for any comments aside from more RAM testing, I think I have cleared my Old RAM, and PSU from any possible blame, as well as the new RAM, for it is not in my system.

THE END for now

More Information

I have run several EAsy infos in the meantime

All EA Games games come with a utility for checking sys config. The games by EA Games that I have on my system are and the results that I got from testing each:

Battlefield 2: all is good, started up and recognized it all

Battlefield 1942 the Road to Rome: all is good, started up and recognized it all

Command and Conquer Generals:all is good, started up and recognized it all

Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour:all is good, started up and recognized it all

Need For Speed Underground 2*: Problematic as told in pictures:

what this means I do not know

http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p140/billdcat4/EAsyinfowindowserror.jpg

this is looking fishier by the minute

Now I simply must add here that this programs was dl'ed by a friend and given to me with cracks, keygens and all. Unfortunately, several months ago it refused to start, I believe saying that the CD was not in the drive, hinting that the CD Crack failed, or the game files were corrupted in some way.

I do not know what these errors mean but they very well might lead us all to my actual issue.

NOTE TO ALL READING THIS POST: I wrote a full encounting of all gone on until its point on page4 called 'the big one', you cannot miss it. I would greatly appreciate it if everyone who wants to help out, that they read that post.

Gday
