Is there anything in the works for a fast USB, or a newer faster technology? Maybe a form of eSata flash based stick? USB sticks are replacing dvds in a sense, for easy transfers and storage..but they are quite slow. Is there anything new in the works that is small, portable and FAST?

Im thinking that we'll start seeing firewire 800 based flash drives sometime this year, that will pretty much double the data rate of drives.
