Hi, what about a review of performance of new HomePlugAV device like devolo ?
I'm really interested on those device but I need to know if they can obtain good performance or not...

none of those are for Homeplug AV, one is about "extended" 85mbps Homeplug 1.0 and the other is for a device that it is not Homeplug AV compliant...

since product HomeplugAV are out it is really interesting to see how well they perform.

The 200Mbps Corinex devices aren't HomePlug AV, but should be indicative of the performance that AV devices will provide.

As far as I can tell, HomePlug AV devices are being announced, but none are as yet shipping, at least in the U.S.

Tnx, here in europe seems that devolo are available... what I'm a little be curious is if there are different performance when those device are used on 110V/60Hz or 220V/50Hz...

The two technologies are worlds apart. You are doing your readers a great disservice by lumping the two together. The DS2 chipset was designed for BPL and not AV streaming and it shows in the extremely poor performance when streaming. HomePlug AV was designed from the beginning for AV streaming with all the hooks needed to assure QOS needed even at the demanding data rates of HDTV.

Perhaps. But my experience so far with all networking technologies besides Ethernet is that they deliver far less than they promise.

I look forward to testing HomePlug AV products when they are available.
