Im building a media center pc and want to be able to transmit my dvi signal to my tv wirelessly.Is there such a thing?I remember buying a transmitter for tv to tv signals yrs ago.If so could you tell me what they are called and maybe recommend one? Thanks

Thanks.Since the posting I found equipment but still dont fully understand.Some are inexpensive and plug directly into your pc(inexpensive) and others seem to require a network thing(sounds expensive).What I`m trying to achieve is playing a dvd in my PC and having the ability to also watch it on my tv across the room.(I have a tv out on my ATI X1600 pro) if that helps.It would also be great if I could use the tv screen as a monitor from the couch.(I have logitech wireless key and mouse)Is this possible?I get the impression so far that technologies are headed that way but not quite there yet.I`m becoming more and more confined because of back problems and am trying to set things up for the future.I am building a PC and have done much homework,but obviously have much more to do.Any input would be appreciated.Thanks

I'm sure there are products that can do what you want. Whether or not they fall into a category you would define as "inexpensive" is another story. The long and short of it is if you want it to be affordable and work reliably, wired is probably the way to go.
