I am trying to add the ability to manage Outlook subfolders to a handheld
computer.
I purchased a product called Lookout (v 2.3.0) to add to my iPAQ h1910
hoping to add this ability, and I cannot get Lookout to see anything on the
handheld.
....Do you have advice about how to FIX the Lookout problem?
....Should I STOP TRYING to add Outlook subfolders to handheld?
....Is there a consensus good product for doing this that I should
SUBSTITUTE for Lookout?
I use a standalone desktop with Windows XP Pro & Outlook 2002 (sp3)
My Pocket PC is ver 3.0.11171.

Lookout is not offering any support. I have installed, synched, restarted
both devices at least 3 times.
I have also copied the "lookout.cdb" file to my fixed disk & opened the
"lookout.mdb" file it creates; the mdb tables do not show any entries.
The screen on the handheld suggests to me that Lookout is installed on the
handheld. I cannot find the parts of Lookout that interact with Outlook.
The following is some pre-sales text from the Lookout web site.
Lookout consists of two applications. One (called the server), runs on your
Windows computer, the other (called the client) runs on you Pocket PC.
The server connects to MS Outlook and keeps track of all your changes, and
writes those into the Lookout database.
The client also reads and writes to this database, of which a copy is makde
onto your Pocket PC. Those two databases are synchronized; ActiveSync does
the job.
The Lookout server should be setup once, then it runs without you having to
touch it. The only program you work with is the Lookout client on your Pocket
PC.
