For some time now we have been experiencing slow browsing of files when using
an application to browse a shared drive on a windows 2000 server.

When the app is open we then goto open file and browse to the shared disk on
the Win2k box, scrolling is painfully slow and jerky.

We are using Mac OSX 10.3.9 (Panther) on 4 workstations that are affected,
note that our MacOS 9 workstations are not affected and niether are any of
the PC workstations.
We have a gigabit Ethernet network in a switched environment and the server
is not taxed. Also when we browse thru the Go menu we do not experience the
slow browsing.

The Win2k server is fully patched.

Can anyone offer any solutions?

Thanks in advance
