Just bought a Netgear Rangemax 240 (WPNT834) wireless router to use with my Atheros Super AG (802.11a/b/g) internal adapter on my new Fujitsu tabletPC (Lifebook T4210). I'm unable to get the wireless speeds over 54mb (the laptop is only 4 ft away from the router). I know Netgear recommends using their WPNT511 adapter to reach the 240mb speed, but I thought I should be able to get at least 108mb with the Atheros adapter.
Any suggestions?

You have to use same mfg hardware for the 240 to work. And this is only if it sees no other 11b/g networks. With no std and even if a std (11g) they all do things differently to force you to buy their compatable hardware.

Thanks Blue,

I guess I need to go with the WPNT511 adapter.
