Hi,

My daughter has just brought her computer home from school and it now
has a few problems. She was running on a LAN while there but here at
home I'm getting it back to running through a dial-up modem. It was
saturated with spyware but it seemed to clean well enough.

The problem I'm seeing is that the Internet Connection Wizard won't let
me specify a country, the drop down list shows no countries at all, just
all white. I'm also getting icwconn1.exe has generated errors messages too.

I copied all the files from C:\program files\Internet
Explorer\Connection Wizard from my computer to hers and it had no effect.

Any ideas about what to try next? Device Manager says the modem is
working properly.

Thanks!
