I recently had to format C:, install win2000 and get an old backup.
Now I have explorer generating a fault telling me I have to re-start
the program - not so, I have to reboot to make it work again.

It often briings that error about and I feel I may have to reinstall
but don't really want to. Dr. Watson gives this information:

I have recently had to install a card for USB2 as I had an excess of
items required to access the computer. I suppose I should start by
disconnecting that?
