I have 2 x 200 GB hard drives in the computer and one in an external
enclosure called DISK. The DISK is connected via USB2 and has served
well for 4-5 months. Of late, I have found that large files will
transfer from the DISK to the computer reasonable well and fairly
speedily. However from the computer to the Disk is another story. I
get error messages and the USB2 gets fouled up so I have to re-boot in
order to see my Wacom Tablet working again. The error messages as
picked from the Event Log are:

Application popup: Windows - Delayed Write Failed : Windows was unable
to save all the data for the file \Device\HarddiskVolume7\$MftMirr.
The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your
computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file
elsewhere.

{Lost Delayed-Write Data} The system was attempting to transfer file
data from buffers to \Device\HarddiskVolume7. The write operation
failed, and only some of the data may have been written to the file.

An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk2\DR7 during a paging
operation.

The messages are in reverse order with the latest at the top, just as
they occur in the log.

The 200 GB drive in the DISK is also a WD the same type and speed as
the ones in the computer.

I have tried using another computer similar to mine and found that to
be working better. It takes about 4 minutes for an 8 GB file (*.bkf)
to transfer from DISK to computer but 15-17 minutes for it to go the
other way.

Can anyone suggest a solution, PLEASE.
