I have a Gigabyte DS3 Motherboard rev 7. I was overclocking and had the bios not work. So the computer restarted and tried to load the bios from the harddrive (intelligent tweaker). It then restarted and since then the computer is running, but nothing posts on the screen.

I have overclocked many times and normally it would just reboot the bios to the standard 2.13 setup. It would automatically fix itself.

I have also tried clearing the cmos, and for good measure i unplugged everything and took the battery out overnight to clear the cmos. That has not worked, I still have the same problem.

I dont think its a hardware problem because it was running fine at 3440 mhz, and i was triying for 3520. There doesn't appear to be any fault components and other people have overclocked theres to 3800+.

Has anyone ran into this problem? How did you solve it? I'm thinking about unplugging everything and reinstalling... but if it is the bios, that will not help. I unplugged and reinstalled the video card to ensure that was not the problem.

Thanks for any help.

You might want to take a look at my problem. I haven't found a solution yet, but the steps I've tried might work for you.

Try resetting the BIOS via the jumpers. There should be BIOS jumpers somewhere on the mobo just take them off and wait like 10 seconds and put them back. That should reset the BIOS back to factory settings and version.
