Anything that loads new code and executes it, such as an executable or even
script, is open to having code loaded that could be potentially malicious.
On top of that viruses could possibly create a trojan that causes the host
PC to trash the PDA data via Active Sync when you go to sync.

But it really does take some active effort on the part of the user for this
to be a concern PDA wise. Running unknown programs, clicking attachments in
emails, even browsing to dubious location is activity that increases the
risk substantially. But some facets of virus propagation are really best
left to Hollywood and Virus protection software sales folks.

IBM..Warning.. Massive..Vulnerable... So, I guess IBM is going into
subscription virus sales...
