The specifications say it has a ATi Mobility RADEON X1600 256MB DDR2 SDRAM PCI Express (HyperMemory graphics)

Is this 256MB dedicated RAM? What sort of graphics card is this? (I've never heard of it)

Is this graphics card good enough for 3D CAD and rendering programs, such as AUTOCAD and 3DS MAX??

Here's the spec of this laptop. Would appreciate advice about whether it is suitable for multi-processing and 3D modelling and rendering.

What you got there is one nice laptop! the X1600 has its own memory so it doesnt eat it from your system RAM and yes it should run AUTOCAD and 3DS quite smoothly
