Hi all,
Ive recently got myself broadband and a wireless router- USR8054:
http://www.usr-emea.com/support/s- [...] &prod=8054
I read in one of the magazines that you should upgrade your firmware as this
can improve performance. As my connection wasnt the best when wireless I
downloaded the newest firmware from the website and followed the
instructions to flash it. This hasn't worked. Im now left with the USR
power light flashing. Ive tried to reset it, but again this isnt working.
Has anyone got any ideas on how to solve this? Id phone USR but they arent
open till monday- :( Any help very grately appreciated!!! Cheers, Liam

Remove power. Press the reset button and hold it while restoring power.
Sometimes it works that way with other routers.

Liam,

Try the DSLReports (BBR) Forums:
http://www.dslreports.com/forum/othermfg

They solve a lot of intense hardware issues there.

Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.
