probably yes but i dont think ill use the stpock hsf, but that will be later, for now i see no reason to do so, i have not had a single game/app that reached max 100% usage, usualy its about 70% at max and thats just 1 core, so im quite happy with that, i might start to think about that maby in a year or more, when ill start feeling the conroes age, but for now i thnk this cpu is an overkill for all existing aps, btw there was someone who broke the 5gig marc with the e6600 but i have no idea what cooling was used, so if il be ocing, i might oc it to that 3.0 atleast, just to try it out. so far i know my memory is quite ok ofr ocing a conroe, so im glad about that |

I had the same problems.... Disable Q-fan in the Bios and you Hard drives will be recognized as such... Worked for me... |

Eh, did you try it...? Did it work? It didn´t ? Bad luck for you. I got htis tip from a link posted in this thread and it worked for me.... I was thinking the same thing as you are now.... |

I connected the DVD drive to bottom(back) and it booted up just fine, but I got the "0DD0 JMiron" message display for 2 seconds on the booting up process before getting to Windows XP Pro screen. I will try to connect it to the side to see if the error is still there or now. |
