My Cingular (Philadelphia PA area) plan was marketed as $45/month.
I actually pay $60-$62.

Anybody else care to reveal their advertised vs actual rates?

ATT ---> $29.95 vs $38.50

About a 23% difference! Drives me nuts.

Let's see: with foundation account and a special rate that was there
one day, I pay $89.99 for 2000 minutes, plus $8.99 for a second phone.
That's $98.98.

But my bill is $112.47, I believe. That's $14 in taxes and "fees".

39.99 for 600 nat plus 19.99 Mediaworks
works out to about 70 bucks a month.

You mean like the price for gasoline is $0.79/gal, but with all the
taxes I pay over $2.00?

The $15-$17 is taxes and government imposed fees for the most part.
