Even though you want to buy into the DX10 hype, you are crippling the system with that 7300GS, it would be wiser to go for a decent video card even if it means buying a lower end CPU in order to stay within your budget.

Consider that early DX10 titles and compliant hardware won't offer much more than a few sprinkles of eyecandies, it may take months before we see worthwhile implementations, by that time, the technology will have matured and early DX10 hardware will no longer be adequate.

So do you have a suggestion for a cheap video card, but also performs well that can run games like BF2142 and BF2 and CS:S and HL2 at high settings at high res?

ANy good Budget cards that pack a punch?
Also, is the rest of the system good and compatible?

Ok is this card ok? Remember, im upgrading to the Top of the line DX10 card when it comes out, and this is just to hold me on.
