Although it's probable you don't know what (G)DDR3 is, you actually should have asked about GDDR4 in reference to the X1950XTX :)

Well then whats (G)DDR5? And when will that revolution happen?

You think HyST3R was just asking what is ram? or (G)RAM? Cause its Ram that goes with your graphics card. Wiki / Google for more info. (or was he one of the guys who blocked me???) Someone else tell him.

GDDR5 will be ready by H2 2007. Source: here.

I'd really like to know, but I don't have the ability to see the future yet. I'm still practicing though. :P

GDDRx is GDDR(x-1) but a tad better.

So if we graph X on a coordinate plane, what kind of growth should we see?

Solve for X:
1.) 5
2.) 3.2
3.) (Sqrt(2))^5
4.) y=x(2+x)(2-y)

Please show all your work for the GDDR growth and plot at least 3 sets per answer (not including 0,0).

I'll answer when you find the exact mathematical solution of "a tad".

Mathematicly, a tad is the oppisite inverise to a couple, which means 2.
So therefore, a tad is (-)1/2. Because a tad can express greater or lesser values, the negitive doesnt apply outright.

Example: 1 plus a tad more is 1.5.

2 times a tad is 3. a couple of apples minus a tad of apples is just one half of an apple.

So find me those answers.

Doesn't that mean a couple of apples (2) minus a tad (1/2) is one and a half apples?

Yes it does. See your paying attention.

Now apply your new knowledge and solve those answers!

i dont quite need to google something that i already own. ROFL for you buddy!

i wasnt talking about video ram, i was talking about system ram, you know those chips you plug into the mother board DIMM's. yeah where is DDR3? i thought it was going to be on the market by the end of the year?

we've got GDDR4 in vid cards, but still got people using first generation DDR in their systems.

all i keep seeing is faster DDR2 and Faster FB-DIMM ram, when FB-DIMM's came out they were supposed to be pre runners to DDR3, or so i read on tom's. all im saying is i havent heard anything bout it coming up in a while now.

... zing. Sorry, but you're wrong. As creator (see my patent) of "a tad" in the mathematical sense, I get to define it. And you have most definitely not got the right answer. So I'm very apologetic, but go chew a different bone.

The upcoming AM3 socket-based CPUs will be paired with DDR3 memory (I guess it'll be ready by 2008... Sorry, I have a lousy memory..).

That's what I've read somewhere, but I can't find it now.

this is your way of saying: "I DUNO" isnt it. Thats ok those math questions were kinda hard.

No, it's my way of saying [Insert my previous post here]. If you really need to shorten it to get your head around it, try "You are wrong". Is that simple enough?
