using artic Silver 5 and two fan on NB and SB heatsink.
Got it on time. OEM CONROE E6700 B2 STPEPING 6
AI Booster Can't even do 30% which is 3.400ghz.
After 24 hrs tweaking here are the results:
Post in window XPpro at 3.800ghz at vcore 1.67 drooping to 1.59-1.62, idlling at 55C but will crash immediately. Drop the radiator in cold water lower cpu temp down to 47C but still not stable. ratio 1:1 and 4:5 will work. That pair of memory can bo oc to 933 at 2.2V.
At 3730 will run some what stable at 1.67 drooping to 1.59-1.62 at 47C idling, 59 load.
At 360 rock solid at 1.5V, idling at 45, load at 55-57. as mention above memory was nerver a problem, It will work at 1:1 or 4:5
THERE ARE NO PROBLEM WITH PULLING FSB BUT THE PROBLEM IS CONROE E6700 NEEDED SUCH HIGH VCORE TO RUN STABLE. EVEN IF YOU CAN MAINTAIN REASONABLE CPU TEMP (45-47).
Since I am looking for the 24/7 system I can't afford anything higher than 1.5. This is gonna be my almost final verdict except if you guys have any other idea. I check around at the OFFICIAL CONROE THREAD at EXTREME and this is pretty much what people get for their E6800 and E6700 stable systems.
I never did anything to the video card yet but i do not think it is going to help...?

SO MY FINAL VERDICT for E6700 ($600) with P5W-DH ($269) at 360 GHZ 24/7 is NOT really a good OC system. If I have a chance, I'd do Gigabyte DS3 ($130) and E6600($313) 0r even E6400 ( will be easily OC to 3.40-3.60 GHZ stable 24/7. Check out the extreme site.) and save that $420(from the CPU and MB)+$270(Video card)=$690 for the kick ass SLI or CF.

UPDATE WITH RETAIL E6400 B2 STEPPING 6 AT 2.13GHZ
If you follow the attached was my result for the E6700. I apply this exact set up with the brand new retail E6400 and here is the result:
Boot to window at 435 fsb but crash immediately.
Prime 95 for both core for 5 hours at 425fsb X 8 = 3.4GHZ. Vcore = 1.52 droop to 1.48, CPU full load with prime95 at 55C.
This is an impressive 1.27ghz OC compare to 2.12ghz stock AND STABLE.
THIS CPU CAN DO MORE WITH A MOTHERBOARD THAT ALLOW FOR MORE FSB. ASUS P5W DH WITH 801 BIOS ALLOW FOR 450 BUT NAH...YOU HAVE TO MCH MOD TO GET 450 OR HIGHER. I SEE LOT OF GIGABYTE AT 450 AND 500 FSB WITHOUT MOD.
SEE IT FOR YOUR SELF AND MAKE YOUR OWN DECISION. i WILL DO ANOTHER OC WITH RETAIL E6600 WHEN I HAD A CHANCE.
Good Luck
