No camera on the SX66. So I was looking for an SDIO camera. It seems like
no one's able to state compatibility w/ more than a few HP IPAQs or a few
others (Axim). Anyone know of a camera that will work w/ the SX66, or the
upcoming AV6600 (Audiovox) ... both based on the XDA III but no camera.

I don't have the answer regarding SDIO cameras. However, one thing to
consider with the SX66 is that connecting an SDIO camera (or other
"thick" SDIO device -- gps for example) is that it will probably prevent
the keyboard from sliding out. I only use the keyboard on my MDA III
for entering large amounts of text (long emails, IM), and it may not be
a concern for you. Just figured I'd give you the heads up.

should work with any sdio slot... they have not been reported as "picky"

Buy one with a return option, for this and satisfaction reasons...

the image and color quality of these cameras leaves a lot to be desired.

most of us with the need and interest have turned to using small digital
cameras that use the same storage card format as the ppc... sony, for
example, is not an option with ppc's although sony has just released a
high end camera with a CF slot that would seem to indicate that they are
aware of the betamax problem with their philosophy ;-)
