I agree minim3, $250.00 is my top end. I'm still waiting... more and more makers are slowly coming out with their 680i chipset boards.

I just read the review from Anandtech(sp?) on the eVGA board where they had a e6300 OCed to over 3ghz using a "tweakless" tool. Or something like that. So I'm guessing an e6600 ca go even further. 8) Maybe 3.5ghz? Time will tell...

Got my striker extreme yesterday! It is still in the box, killing me just sitting there. Now i got to wait on the rest of my stuff. What do you guys think about this system?

Core 2 Duo 6700
Asus striker extreme motherboard
Corsair dominator 8500c5d (2 gig)
BFG 8800GTX video card

Those are my upgrade parts i got coming. I hope all that stuff works well together. I also went with a new case. I got the coolermaster stacker 830, the black one, rev 2. I dunno but to me, this thing screams sexy. I had a silver one just like it, but this one has area to mount a bigger power supply. :P

Hope you guys still in search of the striker find one soon. As far as looks go just examing still in the box, i don't regret paying the money for it.
