Thanks for your responses Brian and Bill.

Some of your technical comments I don't understand - but I'm suspecting
this is a no go as the commands are resolved in the external switch.
Haven't had a response from Belkin yet.

For interest my set up is:
Win 98 pc with 19" crt monitor
win xp pc with 2 TFT monitors.

Via belkin switch to wireless mouse and keyboard.
The 'monitor' switching is redundant in my set up.

I do this so that I can view task progress (typicall video editing) on
one pc whilst working on the second.

This means I can quickly flick between different tasks and my desk
space is free for other project materials / paperwork.
