When I synchronize a difference of 1 hour occurs between my Laptop clock and

Is there a setting I can make to correct this problem?
I have adjusted the time zones in both machines to read the same.

263 and my Laptop is Toshiba Satellite Mobile intel (R) Pentium (R) 4 - M
CPU 2.2 GHz with the system istalled Microsoft Windows Xp Preofessional
