I have a Panasonic Toughbook running XP Pro SP1. My modem is setup to run on
Com 5. The problem I have is I have older software that only allows me to
choose a Com Port between 1 and 4. Is there a way to reconfigure my modem to
operate on a different Com Port between 1 - 4????
Thanks

By taking a look in the BIOS and Device Management, you should be able to
re-assign COM x to the modem.
