Hi,

I can access the Internet from my IPAQ through the Bluetooth connection, but
I cannot access the PC's shared folders from File Explorer. I just get a
"Network path was not found" error message. ActiveSync doesn't work over
Bluetooth either - only when in the cradle.

What am I doing wrong? Do I need any special IP settings on the IPAQ? I have
just set it to "server-assigned" at the moment, is that correct?

/Jesper

BTW, I'm using Windows 2000.

I am trying to sort out the exact same problem. I have not tried this yet,
but just located a possible solution on internet:

http://home.comcast.net/~spam-target/1327.html

I will likely be trying to go through this later today, but would still be
interested in any other input or any successes or problems that anyone has
had following these instructions. I will let you know how I make out later.

Most guides (including our on Geekzone) work on ICS solutions. These will
not allow access to shared folders. You want to use the PAN profile,
available with Widcomm drivers from 1.3 and up. You do this by select "Allow
Private Network" instead of "Share Internet Access" in the Bluetooth Network
Access configuration. In this case you have to manually configure your
Pocket PC to access the network, including IP address, DNS, etc.
